Well starting back into the new year and I can't believe that I have been making horses now for over 12 months! They are very popular and I love to make them. They continue to be that every one is absolutely unique with some beautiful fabrics. The kids and I search high and low for new and different names. Sometimes when naming I look around and see the ripple cotton that I used to stuff the ears and it comes to me RIpley!!! Other times the name is forming in my head as I create. I have some wonderful stories of people who have bought horses and have a real connection to the name. A mother and daughter were on holiday had just purchased a horse looked at the name and realised it's same name as the town they live in, Appleby!
Towards the end of last year I was very busy with Etsy and the beginning of a whole new world with new friends and some very incredibly talented people. If you haven't checked it out then I highly recommend it.
Also shortly I will be receiving samples for my new clothing range that I will be promoting shortly, I am ironing out some challenges but it has been lots of fun seeing these creations evolve...just a beginning, I am nervous to say the least! and look forward to sharing them with all of you.
We had a beautiful trip back to Perth where the kids and I caught up with family and friends and helped to celebrate my mum's 60th!!!! What an achievement she is so beautiful and radiated life, beauty and youth and her enthusiasm for helping create a more beautiful, peaceful planet with lots of trees! continues to inspire me.
All the kids are thriving. Yemaya wants to open her own pet hotel, with fluffy carpet and a fully kitted out playroom, beauty salon and dining room. Raven is madly beading at the moment after an inspiring visit to an old friend and neighbor in Perth. Thank you for your inspiration Liz......Jim is keen to grade for his black tip in Tae Kwon Do before we head off travelling at the end of the year..and Neo well what can I say he is Walking, Talking, Swimming, Analysing, Negotiating, Laughing what a blessed child he is to have 5 others to dote on him and us for having him around. What A joy!
We are looking at getting Wwoofers in throughout this year to help with the homeschooling and vegie garden etc etc etc
If I start my Ayurveda course we are looking to complete that in India at the end of the year.... early next year...very exciting. Shaun is keen to take some photos of his latest artwork and start his own Etsy shop....Pets are great - Milo, Pipi, Midnight, Blaze and all the chickens which fluctuate in numbers depending on the amount of new little hatchlings and number of snakes and monitors. Snakes have been less this year thanks to Jimi's new discovery of peeing around the chook house and a new awareness from our neighbor, the local snake catcher, that they do actually come straight to our place for a yummy snack!
All in all we are looking forward to a brilliant and inspiring new year filled with new directions and an enrichment of what we already so luckily have... each other! life is grand......love to you all and happy new year!!!! x x x o o o

Website training at 4am in the morning. This is the moment I've been waiting for. Neo has just gone down for another sleep and I have approximately 1.25 hours to complete my new website and finish building my new etsy shop! as well as reply to all the people whom I love in my life. I am trying to consolidate all my life into one place....here....A little bit like my new sewing room.....I have sectioned off the oversized lounge come study into a two roomed completely functional studio for all my creations. It means I can now leave my creative chaos behind and enter the mama zone a different chaos all together but nice to have it seperate. I'm much happier now and I can focus on what needs to happen next. So I am intending to create a new members page where I can keep everyone up-to-date on new happenings as they happen...watch this space...till next time..keep your feet muddy.
